Two small planes were midair collided over San Francisco Bay Yesterday after 4 p.m. The crash occurred at about 4:05 p.m. and involved a single-engine Cessna 210 that went into the water and a single-engine Hawker Sea Fury TMK 20 that landed safely at the Eagle’s Nest Airport in Ione in Amador County at about 4:45 p.m.,said by spokesman Ian Gregor.
US Coast Guard underway water search is started soon after the collisionand the Agency spokeswoman Loumania Stewart says debris was spotted in the water after the Sunday afternoon collision.
Stewart didn't know how many people were aboard the aircraft believed to be in the water and as per the reports the pilot is missing.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said he was pursuing information about the collision.
