The latest buzz of Bollywood is the filmmaker Rohit Shetty is palnning to pull off the most enviable casting coup. He has roped in actor Shah Rukh Khan and is in talks with actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the film's leading lady.
Shah Rukh Khan is confirmed as the male lead in the film. While, the director is yet to lock in Aishwarya as SRK's leading lady.
If the Singham Returns director succeeds in locking the stellar cast for his project, then SRK and Aishwarya will romance each other onscreen after 12 years, since they were last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2002 film 'Devdas'.
In 2000 Shah Rukh and Aishwarya have featured together as siblings in 'Josh'. Aishwarya had also done a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan's Mohabbatein, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. Nevertheless, former Miss World also appeared in the item number Ishq Kameena in SRK's film 'Shakti'.
If the planning is a success, this movie will be Shah Rukh and Rohit's second project after 2013 superhit 'Chennai Express,' in which Deepika Padukone featured the female lead role.
Meanwhile, After the motherhood role in life, Aishwarya is all set for her comeback. Her last movie was Sanjay Gupta's 'Jazbaa' opposite Irrfan Khan.
