On Friday BCCI's working committee decided that the former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri will continue as the Team Director of the Indian team till the ICC World Cup 2015.
The committee also decided that Duncan Fletcher will remain head coach of the side, while the tenures of the three support staff members, Sanjay Bangar, B Arun and R Sridhar - have been extended as well.
They also took decision about the board's annual general meeting (AGM) and the office bearers for the next three years will be elected, will be held on November 20.
After a horrific show in recently-concluded five-match Test series against England, Shastri was appointed as the Director of the Indian team and many players credited him for the team's 3-1 over the Poms in the ODIs.
Speculations were rife that Fletcher would be sacked post Shastri's appointment, however the team management has probably decided not to take such a big step with the ICC World Cup being just few months away.
