Dengue, a lethal disease, which is an infectious mosquito-borne viral infection. The symptoms of this disease range from mild fever, to incapacitating high fever, with severe headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain, and rash.

Dengue is not a communicable disease, which means it is not transmitted directly from person-to-person, but it leads to death very soon.

However, there is no any specific treatment or vaccine for dengue yet. In this disease condition the platelet count will be very low than the normal. (The normal number of platelets in the blood is 150,000 - 400,000 platelets per micro-liter).

Doctors suggest that dengue patients be given such food which can be easily digestible, but there is no prescribed diet for dengue
