'Evolution of Bollywood Music' is a treat for Bollywood classical music lovers from the Penn Masala's band. The band's latest video shows them singing hit songs from different eras. i.e from 'Suhani Raat' to 'Badtameez Dil' which spread as a viral in social medias.
According to the songs and the actors the singers of this video changed their dressing code like SRK's style and Punjabi dress to memorize the period of Daler Mehndi.
As in Black and white costume, the musical-extravaganza starts with legend Mohammad Rafi's Suhani Raat Dhal Chuki (Dulari, 1949) then, Raj Kapoor- Nargis starrer Shree 420's (1955) Mera Joota Hai Japani. Later to the wrap up of the golden era of Bollywood with Eena Meena Deeka (Aasha, 1957) and Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh (Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai, 1960). Move to the 60's hit Aaja Aaja (Teesri Manzil, 1969) and Roop Tera Mastana (Aradhana, 1969).
From the 70's they singing gamchas from Bachna Ae Haseeno Lo Main Aa Gaya and Khaike Paan Banarasa Wala (Don, 1978) and Hum Kisis Kum Naheen (1977). Intezar Ho Gayi from Sharaabi (1984) the song remembers the look of Sreedevi in 80's.
90's are a Shah Rukh Khan fest with Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, 1995), Dil to Pagal Hai (1997) and Chaiyya Chaiyya (Dil Se, 1998) and Aamir Khan's Pehla Nasha (Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, 1992). After that they flipped to Tunak Tunak song, which give them a great applause from Daler Mehendi's fans because of the dedication.
The revolution ends up to Munni Badnam Hui (Dabangg, 2010), Sheila Ki Jawani (Tees Maar Khan, 2010) and Dilliwaali Girlfriend (Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, 2013).
