2 States Storyline

The romantic story is based on the book '2 States' by Chethan Bhagath. It tells about the love between two cultutrally opposite couples.
Krish Malhotra and Ananya Swaminathan meet at the IIM-Ahmedabad College and gradually they fall in love. Problems raise when they decided to get marry. As they belong to two culture and states of India -Krish, a North Indian Punjabi boy from Delhi, and Ananya, typical Tamilian Brahmin from Chennai. They decide to get marry only with the permission of parents. However, when the parents meet, a cultural clash occurs and they oppose the marriage. The story then go through different methods used by the couples to change the mind of parents and convert their love story to a love marriage..
The movie is a romantic- comedy one, which tells the story of two culture and 2 lovers.
